Nigella Lawson hits the iPhone with her ‘Quick Collection’ app. 70 recipes, 60 are taken from her best selling recipe books (How To Eat, How To Be A Domestic Goddess, Nigella Bites and Nigella Express) and 10 are new and exclusive to this app.
Looks very nice (though doesn’t feel quite as well put together as Jamie Oliver’s 20min Meals iPhone app) and does everything you’d expect from a half decent cooking recipe app - there’s some nice video, photos, etc - but the voice control feature for moving through a recipe without having to touch your iPhone is a nice touch.
Nigella Quick Collection for iPhone is £1.19 on App Store.

Not really being one for cooking, this was downloaded out of curiosity. Jamie’s 20 minute meals got a stack of really high ratings and really good comments. Is it the best cooking app on the iPhone? Well it got me cooking (and I really, really don’t cook), and cooking a meal that tasted pretty good too - so it must be up there.
Jamie’s 20 Minute Meals, £4.99 on App Store
